Local File Viewer

Why does RBrowser have a Local File Viewer?

Yes, on MacOSX you can use the Finder for everything. RBrowser integrates with it pretty well (you can drag out of the Finder and drop into an RBrowser window or vice versa). RBrowser has a Shelf which makes it very convenient to find files/folders you use a lot on remote system.

RBrowser's Local File Viewer does have some nifty features you will not find in the Finder, like a better interface for setting permissions, or compress/uncompress files or folders.
